ausTech news Episode 79: Battlefield Heroes

Episode 79: Battlefield Heroes

With the big news being Battlefield Heroes being a new free (ish) game announced by EA, I go through that, and cover Nvidia's next few graphics cards coming soon as well.

Short News:

WoW hits 10million users (roughly the same as the online list in skype!), Team fortress 2 plans: you will get unlockable weapons! The first being the medic class. They are unlocked for completing half, then all acheivements for them. The only one revealed so far will permenantly give the healee %200 max health, but its ubercharge takes much longer to get there. Crysis soundtrack comes out on january 29th, and has over an hour of neat orchestral music done by Inon Zur. It has not been confirmed if you need to update your CD player in order to hear it, Super Smash Brothers Brawl announced that it will be shipping a lot of demos of games the charecters originally came in, for example the NES version of legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus and Kirby. Sadly so far they look to be just demos, but still they will come on the disc that has the game for the Wii. For those worried about GTA IV and its delay, Rockstar have said that the Xbox 360 and PS3 Versions are now identical, besides the live content of the xbox 360.... Is that a good or bad thing?
